Nearly everyone, at one time or another, has deleted or saved over a file they needed. The Windows recycle bin doesn`t protect every file-most notably files deleted over the network, and it provides no protection against saving over earlier versions of files. We`ve all had occasion to open an important Word document or Excel spreadsheet intending to use it as a starting point for a new file and forgotten to rename it, losing hours or days of work the minute we saved the "new" file.

Traditionally, files had to be recovered from backup, a time-consuming task that doesn`t always work for simple file retrieval. Undelete provides a safety net that captures all deleted files including files deleted across the network and it also provides automatic file version protection for Microsoft Office files.
